What is Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery?

Brazilian butt Lift Basics, also known as Buttock Augmentation or Gluteoplasty

Fat is transferred from other parts of the body to the buttocks, to help create fuller curves and improve shape. The popularity of this procedure has been increasing over the last several years!

How does a Butt Lift Work?

First, the patient receives either general or local anesthesia. Your surgeon will suggest which is best for you. Next, your surgeon will remove fat from the selected location. Typically from your Back, Stomach, or Thighs. Final Step, the fat that was removed is purified then injected into the buttocks. This is done from a few locations to make sure the fat is distributed evenly.

What is the Recovery Time?

  • You can return to work 7-10 days after the procedure.
  • A compression garment should be worn for at least 2 weeks.
  • Try to avoid direct pressure to the buttock area for the first 3 weeks.
  • Try to limit the amount of sitting during the first 3 weeks. Use a very soft cushion when unavoidable.
  • It is recommended to continue using a cushion for the first 6 weeks

What to Expect from your Brazilian Butt Lift

  • Reduced fat from the removal sites
  • A more full, more curvaceous derriere.
  • Less Skin sagging in the buttock area
  • Note: Full results won’t appear till swelling subsides
